Dr. Odencrantz will serve as the firm's technical representative in the Western United States and Japan.
Dr. Odencrantz brings twenty-five years of diversified experience to Beacon Environmental Services and its clients. Key areas of his professional practice include: water resources impact analysis and treatment; soil and groundwater transport modeling involving surface and groundwater; soil and air transport processes and petroleum/chlorinated hydrocarbon and metals assessment, remediation and monitoring.
Dr. Odencrantz is a well respected industry expert who has testified in several significant legal cases and is routinely invited to speak at leading environmental and water conferences. He is the author of numerous environmental journal articles and serves on a number of editorial boards. He has taught and/or performed research at Kyoto University, Japan, University of California at Irvine, Illinois State Water Survey, USGS Water Resources Division, and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has also performed projects for DOE-Pacific Northwest Lab.-Richland, City of Dallas, Shell Oil Company, Illinois State Water Survey, USGS Water Resources Division, and Kyoto University.
